8:30AM - 10:30AM

As we move into summer, now is a good time to think about what to do in the garden as plants begin to slow down for the year. As plants begin to brown and set seed, you may be wondering what the best horticultural practices are for caring for your landscape. We invite you to join us for a morning of learning about the seasonality of native plant maintenance in the Garden.

This class will take place in various sections of the Garden, and will include lots of walking. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. It is highly recommended that participants bring sun protection and a water bottle. Although the Garden is dog-friendly, participants are asked to not bring their dog(s) to this class.

Garden Members: $25

General Public: $40

The registration fee includes admission to the Garden. If you have questions about the class or need to cancel your reservation, please contact the Education Department: registrations@sbbotanicgarden.org or 805-682-4726, ext. 102.
