Join the Garden for walks through Elings Park and help us discover the biodiversity of the area. Learn about pollinators, birds, invasive plants, bugs, and more. These walks are free and open to the public.
Location:
Elings Park – 1298 Las Positas Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. The group will meet just off the main parking lot by the park office.
Dates and times:
September 16 (9-10 am): Pollinators. Hosted by Sarah Cusser, Ph.D, Terrestrial Invertebrate Conservation Ecologist, and Kylie Etter, Conservation Technician.
October 21 (9-10 am): Birds. Hosted by Scot Pipkin, Director of Education, and Zach Philips, Ph.D., Terrestrial Invertebrate Conservation Ecologist.
November 18 (9-10 am): Plants and Bugs. Hosted by Zach Philips, Ph.D., Terrestrial Invertebrate Conservation Ecologist, and José Flores, Conservation Technician.
December 16 (9-10 am): Birds. Hosted by Scot Pipkin, Director of Education, and Zach Philips, Ph.D., Terrestrial Invertebrate Conservation Ecologist.
