Join us for a fun, family-friendly celebration of Latino Conservation Week! Together with Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, Latino Outdoors, Wilderness Youth Project, and Los Padres Forest Watch, we’ll explore the amazing plants, animals, and insects that call our local environment home. This free bilingual (Spanish) and bicultural event is open to all ages and is a great opportunity to connect with nature, learn something new, explore the Garden’s Landscape Transformation site at Elings Park, and spend time with your community.

Details:

What: Enjoy a community-centered walk focused on connection, nature, and shared learning. Explore the restoration area and the native plants that call Elings Park home, guided by leaders from the Garden, Latino Outdoors, Wilderness Youth Project, Los Padres Forest Watch, Del Pueblo Café.

Where: Top parking lot.

What to bring: Water, sun protection, comfortable walking shoes.
