Be one of the first to walk the newly opened Tipton Trail! Join Keith Nevison, Director of Horticulture and Operations, for an exclusive hike on the Tipton Trail, ending in a stunning view of the Northern Channel Islands. With a backdrop of the Los Padres National Forest, this trail’s variety of terrain means it hosts some of the most abundant wildlife on the Garden Grounds.

Please meet us at the Pritzlaff Conservation Center Lawn, where we will enjoy some coffee and light morning bites before heading to the trailhead and beginning the hike. Be advised this trail is approximately 1 mile (out and back) and involves a total elevation gate of 329 feet, making the hike fairly strenuous.  Please bring water and wear comfortable hiking shoes.  We look forward to seeing you there!
