Member’s Coffee and Pastries with Barbara T. Booth

Join us for breakfast and a show and tell demonstration with artist Barbara T. Booth. Barbara specializes in papermaking and artwork using recycled and re-purposed materials, including creating her own paper using milkweed and dogbane fibers. After we enjoy coffee and pastries in the Garden’s Library, Barbara will present a walkthrough of the papermaking process, from the collection of the milkweed fibers to the finished product. She’ll also show some of her own art created using these materials, including coloring paper using natural dyes. We hope to see you there!
