Book a School Field Trip

Equally fun and adventurous as they are educational, our school field trips aim to inspire the next generation of stewards for our planet. Each tour aligns with in-class curriculum requirements supporting California’s Common Core State Standards, California Education and the Environment Initiative, and Next Generation Science Standards.

Tour availability

Guided school tours will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, beginning the first week of October. We also will offer tours on Wednesday mornings in March, April and May 2025. Tours are scheduled for 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. For schools visiting from outside Santa Barbara, a late start tour (10 to 11 a.m.). is available.

Cost for Guided School Tours (2024-25):

$9.00 per student ($6 per student for Title 1 schools).

There is currently no cost for teachers and staff employed by the school. Adult chaperones must pay our admission price and obtain a reservation prior to visiting.
