Book a School Field Trip

Equally fun and adventurous as they are educational, our school field trips aim to inspire the next generation of stewards for our planet. Each tour aligns with in-class curriculum requirements supporting California’s Common Core State Standards, California Education and the Environment Initiative, and Next Generation Science Standards.

Classes with over 50% of students on free or reduced lunches are eligible to receive reduced tour fees as well as a reimbursement on bus costs. Financial assistance requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis as funding is available.

Tour availability

Guided school tours will be offered twice per week and only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning the first week of October. Tours are scheduled for 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. For schools visiting from outside Santa Barbara, a late start tour (10 to 11 a.m.) is available. Please submit the following school field trip request form to get started.
