Nursery Chats – Early Bloomers

Manzanita and Ceanothus are one of the first bloomers in our Native Planting Season here in California. Ranging from ground covers to stand alone specimens between 10-20 feet tall, both these plant families have lots to offer you in your garden. Want help fixing nitrogen in the soil? Want an evergreen specimen plant for your garden? Want beautiful flowers that pollinators love? These plants can help out.

Every Sunday in December, Garden Nursery Manager, Matt Straka, will give an informal chat on these essential native garden staples.
