Join the Garden’s restoration and bug science teams as they each share fun facts about their favorite insect groups. Terrestrial Invertebrate Ecologist Dr. Sarah Cusser will speak about butterflies, including common butterflies found around California and tips to identify them. Dr. Zach Phillips will share details on a common species of invasive spider, and how to spot it in the wild.

We’ll meet upstairs on the Pritzlaff Conservation Center Balcony for coffee and pastries before joining Sarah and Zach in the Pritzlaff Conservation Center Classroom for a fun and informative presentation on insect information. We hope to see you there!
