Details:
Pollinators are essential to a healthy ecosystem. For gardens to thrive, flowers need to be matched with the right pollinators to reproduce. A successful pollinator garden features a variety of flower shapes, sizes, colors, and bloom times to provide nectar throughout the year. Ensuring diverse plantings will attract an array of pollinators including native bees, flies, hummingbirds, butterflies, beetles, and other insects.
Join us to learn more about gardening techniques and native plants that will help bolster the value of your pollinator garden. The class will take place in the Library, followed by a walk-and-talk through the Garden.
It is highly recommended that participants wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring a hat and/or sunscreen and a water bottle.
Although the Garden is dog-friendly, participants are asked to not bring their dog(s) to this class.
Pricing:
Garden Members: $15
