Firewise Landscape Design for Landscapers

SB Fire Safe Council is partnering with the Garden and others to produce a series of workshops about fire resilient landscaping. Join us for a 1-day workshop (August 9th, 2025) targeting those who are maintaining gardens in high fire risk areas. Content in this workshop will give landscape professionals the tools to communicate fire resilient decision-making to their clients. In this workshop, we will emphasize plant maintenance techniques. 

This class will meet in the Library, and will be followed by a walk around the Garden.

It is highly recommended that participants wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a hat and/or sunscreen and a water bottle.

Although the Garden is dog-friendly, only service animals are permitted at this Garden class.
