Details:

Fall is the perfect time to plant California natives in your garden! Shorter days, cooler weather and winter rains all help roots to grow deep, ensuring better establishment to help get your plants through the longer growing seasons ahead.

Our Fall Planting Weekend is back again! Join us the weekend of November 9 (see below if you’re a Garden member) to kick off your fall planting! We’ve stocked up on a large assortment of unique and common native plants, and staff and volunteers will be hand to help guide you with plant selections to help get your garden growing!

Nursery Hours: 10 AM – 4:30 PM. Please note, our nursey will be closed November 6 – 8 to prepare our inventory.

Share for Chance to Win:

In celebration of the season and to inspire everyone to join the native plant movement, show off your new native plants in your home garden! For a chance to win an annual Garden membership (valued at $75), post a picture of your new native plant on Instagram, tagging the Garden, and using #FallNativePlantLove. Throughout November, we’ll monitor, reshare posts, and select one winner at random at the end of the month. If you do not have an Instagram account but would like to participate, please send us your picture and a caption we can share using this link.
