Lane Bhutani Goedert

Lane Bhutani Goedert is a nonprofit development professional with more than a decade of experience supporting organizations dedicated to environmental stewardship, human services, health equity, social justice, advocacy, education, and the arts.

Throughout her career, Lane has been honored to work with and champion organizations such as Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, as well as the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, Planned Parenthood California Central Coast, KCLU, Santa Barbara Channel Whale Heritage Area, the Equal Rights Amendment Coalition, and AHA!.

An enthusiastic activist and community organizer, Lane believes that healthy communities and healthy ecosystems are deeply interconnected. She is especially passionate about the conservation of California’s native plants and the vital role they play in sustaining biodiversity, strengthening wildfire resilience, addressing climate change, and bringing people together.

When she is not working or volunteering, she can often be found where she is most happy — on a hike with her two Weimaraners, Tessa and Skully.
