Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

Recommending grants to the Garden from your DAF has never been easier.

Funds held with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and BNY Mellon can be recommended directly through DAF Direct . There are no transaction fees associated with your account or with the Garden when using this application.

If you use a fund not listed above, such as the Santa Barbara Foundation or the Fund for Santa Barbara, please contact your fund manager or financial advisor directly for a grant recommendation.

Santa Barbara Botanic Garden accepts gifts from DAFs as payment for Membership dues, however the Member must waive all associated non-deductible Membership benefits, which includes complimentary guest passes, free plant coupon, etc. Please note that the personal payment amount cannot be subtracted from the donor advised fund grant amount — bifurcated payments are not allowed.
