We invite Garden Members to join us for complimentary coffee and pastries with our nature educator, Sabina Thomas. You’ll have an opportunity to learn about the tectonic history of California, as well as the formation of the Transverse Ranges and how they affected the biological diversity in our area. Sabina will also share about the diverse, and sometimes extreme, weather and climate impacts on the landscape of Santa Barbara County.

Please meet us at the Blaksley Library, where you will enjoy some morning bites and beverages with other Garden members before going on a walk to to explore fossils and boulders and discuss some plant adaptations to climate. Come for the coffee and the donuts, the walk, or both!

Gluten free and vegan options will be available. We look forward to seeing you!

Coffee for this event is generously donated by Dune Coffee Roasters.
