Samantha Davis, Ph.D.

Board Member

Samantha Davis, Ph.D., earned a bachelor’s degree in aquatic biology and a bachelor’s in French from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2008, followed by a doctorate in ecology also from UCSB in 2016. Davis’ interests include improving science communication and education to promote a scientifically literate society and applying environmental research to solve complex global conservation and management problems.  Davis joined the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships as the undergraduate research programs coordinator in 2016, where she coordinates training programs to support the educational and professional development of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) students at UCSB.
