Sketch & Sketch with Lisa Trivell – May 2023

Details:

Combining relaxing meditation and stimulating painting, Lisa will lead a session of light stretching and guided relaxation that leads into watercolor paintings inspired by the Garden’s landscapes. Participants of all levels are welcome – no prior experience in stretching or painting is necessary!

Participants will need to bring to this class the following items:

• a small set of water-soluble crayons
• a small watercolor pad (up to 8″ x 10″)
• water brushes
• a drawing pencil
• a bottle of drinking water
• optional – a small portable watercolor paint set and paint brush
• optional – a portable stool

Although the Garden is dog-friendly, participants are asked to not bring their dog(s) to this event.

Pricing:

Garden Members: $25 per person

General Public: $35 per person

About Lisa Trivell:

Lisa Trivell is a native New Yorker and a licensed yoga instructor and massage therapist. She has been exploring abstract, figurative and landscape painting on both coasts since 1992. Lisa has taught drawing and water color painting in New York City and Santa Barbara.
